Find a hotel Determine a shuttle to the hotel (one of the runners?) Do we need anything bigger than a van?

By the end of January we should know if the Natural Bridge Hotel will be open

Thanks to you all - Google Maps now has us positioned correctly! So, I did a google search for the Hotels and Resorts near our address. Unfortunately the Natural Bridge Hotel does not not show up with this search...even though they have a website. Perhaps that is what you meant on your website when you wrote Natural Bridge hasn't found the internet. Anyway, two motels did appear. One is the Relax Inn north of us on Rt 11 near the north 81 interchance which got really bad reviews. The other is the Wattstull Inn which has been around longer that we have and which got excellent reviews. It is 11.8 miles south of us near the Arcadia 81 interchange. Then of course there are many options in Lexington, which is about 17 miles north, including the Cal Alto - Hampton Inn across the street from Krogers.

Called NB Hotel. 540-291-2121. They are renovating now. Hotel will reopen march 14. We will check it out then.

Some other ideas for people just needing a place to change on Sat - We could ask friends if they would lend their house for showers and changing We could rent one room at the hotel for anyone to use The pool in Lexington allows day use - $6 The YMCA does too - price? I will check with the visitors center for other ideas

Lexington has lots of hotels with web site. Here are a few places closer than Lexington...

Bradford Cottage - very close, on Rt 130 near Joe's, you've passed it every time you go to Lexington, little brick cottage that belongs to nice brick house, run by sweet older couple, they don't have a website, heard about it from Nancy, Sleeps 5, 2 bedrooms, (one with queen, the other with double and single), 1 bath, small kitchen and living room, deck with beautiful view. $125 plus tax for 2, extra guests are extra. A special place. They would probably work with us about staying till the afternoon.

Herring Hall - in the valley between the speedway and the monster museum, 3 rooms in an old brick mansion. $150 each

Stone Ridge B&B - sort of near Applewood Inn, looks fancy, didn't get price.

We have blocked space with the natural bridge hotel and (in case of overflow) the Budget Inn. The contract is attached: natural bridge hotel contract

Budget Inn - 7 rooms for Friday and Saturday night at $69 per night. Must cancel unused space 1 week prior to stay.
