Mod suggestion: Assorted Fishing Mods

Description

General

• Lava Fishing (done by TheoreticallyUseful https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/lava-fishing)
• Void/Air fishing, for End or an Aether-like dimension
• API or template for easy integration of fishing in modded fluids
• More biome-specific fishing(cold, warm, etc.) (Partial implementation by UpcraftLP https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/net-weight)
• More fish in general(done by various people)

Mechanics

• Stardew Valley Fishing (I think someone made a datapack for this a few versions ago)
• Fish, Weight, Weather, time, temperature effects to difficulty/behavior
• Fish generate as entities
• Fishing rod stats/upgrades
• Fishing up boss mobs
• Fish items having stats(NBT tags or otherwise)

Fish uses

• Fish cooking methods: simplifying many fish types to fewer fish foods and translating fish stats into benefits in the final product
• Fish Storage due to large numbers of unique items
• Crafting recipes: Tridents? Scale armor? Dyes?
• Fish-based tools: Water beam? FLOOD apparatus from mario sunshine? Dolphin armor?
• Aquariums
• Fish pet drones for fighting underwater?
• Blowfish poisoned tools/potions

you might want to follow https://github.com/UpcraftLP/NetWeight, this is pretty much what I had planned. However the mod is rather new, and still very WIP, with tons of features missing due to me lacking the time to work on it recently.
