Personal Reflection; What I can do better next trimester
My experience this trimester had many ups and downs but it helped shape my mindset right. Last trimester, I breezed through this class and maintained a relatively high grade from week to week while working with my jupyter notebooks (personal blog). However, as diligent as I was through the first trimester, towards the end my final project was extremely bad and I was lost, my group was lost as well and their grades were struggling to the point where we bombed our final project which gave me a lack of experience heading into second tri. This trimester, I tried to pick a group and I ended up relying too much on the talent of my groupmate around the middle of the tri causing my group to be broken up. The breakup of the group for me had a very rough adjustment period, I was able to form a plan with my group but as we dove deeper into more complicated concepts, my group and I seemed to be very lost. I had to find a way to encounter this obstacle, I spent a lot of time asking questions to people I found were highly knowledgeable in this field and this led me to gain a better understand of what I was doing, I was able to think outside of the box and find ways to approach problem critically. I was able to achieve success of functionality for my feature however, after spending many hours and communicating with others I couldn't figure out how to get AWS deployment done successfully.
What can I do better:
Be open to change
Communicate more with the teacher
Ensure im constantly following whats happening in class, don't give up or let yourself fall behind
Stop procrastination so I don't have to focus on debugging or rushing work due to stress
Try to be more individual rather than trying to get others to guide me so its easier to resolve issues.
Make the site look better (frontend)
Keep up with the group more and address their issues sooner (caused deployment to be faulty)
