I've tried to find answers on various sites and this still bothers me. For some reason my save file "corrupts" (not sure if this is the correct term) itself at random intervals. The situation is, I'd play a few days lets say from Day 2 to Day 5. When I reload the game at Day 5, i'd get stuck on the "Loading..." screen forever. If I use a backup save and play till day 5, and reload, it's fine. This is annoying bc SMAPI log shows no errors or crashes.
I've tried another method to see if something in game caused it. I'd sleep for 4-6 days straight without doing anything in game. After each day though, I'd close the game and reload the upcoming day. It still hapens. Sometimes after 1 in-game night, and others after 4 or 5. I cannot find any consistency for these save issues. I'm desperate for help!
