screen shot 2017-03-02 at 8 17 24 pm Not sure if you will be able to see this, but I am not totally sure if the place and the date are a heading, or a part of the article or what. Nor do I really know how to encode it.

screen shot 2017-03-02 at 9 25 27 pm There's another one on the next page. I am not sure if hope is a signature or if the JL is the signature. Or if they both are.

Also can I encode things as a signature outside of floating text?

I think you could interpret the place and date as part of the heading and encode them as a sub-heading. You would then use "head" (I can't use the code brackets in here or what I've written disappears!) as the element and "sub" as the value for the attribute "type."

Let's talk about the "hope (J.L.)" in person. If you include the name of the image file you've clipped from in your note, I can look at the full page quickly in our dropbox folder. We're quickly learning how to use github efficiently!! I'm finding it very easy to communicate about the project this way.
