Dividing lines between articles #9

Should decorative lines that break up articles, paragraphs, or stanzas of songs be encoded as a figure, not encoded, transcribed with a lot of dashes, something else?

Still not sure what to do with the dividing lines still. If I remember correctly we did not encode these in the Young Idea. Though I think it would be cool to encode them to divide up the articles. Is there a way to encode this without encoding an image of one of the dividing lines?

I think just putting the pieces separated by these dividing lines into their own div tags will accomplish this. You'd then want to say in your introduction that you interpret these lines as divisions and have separated consistently in this way (if they further divide individual contributions to the paper, then we basically have decided that there is a smaller meaningful division than the contribution, which would be fine).
