Calico Critters Club on DNHS Campus (club that appreciates Calico Critters figurines and posts about them)

Written Plan

Theme: Calico critter's house

Banner of the page is the roof / top floor of the calico critter house
- There will be 4 critters scattered about the roof, each representing one of the members in our group (Maryam, Kushi, Nora, Joanna)
- Will include basic info: brief description/ welcome of site, names, how it works
Floor under the banner/ roof will be the input system where users can input their own text and caption it, then post it for public viewing
Every floor after the first two will be posts. The layout of the post will be randomly generated from 4 different layouts (1 created by each person). For example: bedroom, kitchen, living room, playroom. Each layout will also have some scene including at least one calico critter
- These layouts will also include some sort of connection to the floor below and above it (ladder or stairs).
- the stairs/ ladder can have different user inputs about the layout, like the collection the critter is from, their names, breed/ species,
- Outside the post box on the top left will be an upvote/ downvote system where other public users can view the post and agree/ disagree with the post. The Image for the up/down vote will be happy and sad critters.
Other things to consider:
- adding other post formats like images, videos, gifs, links
- adding user customization where they can choose the layout they want and customize the critter on their floor
- Making sure all the floors are connected visually and no gaps, make sure scrolling is smooth and everything it formatted nicely

Critter name, critter species, critter collection, critter age, critter owner name, critter owner grade

Altered Proposal (after deciding class theme)

Calico Critters voting game Vote on your favorite critter based on information like name, description, collection, and age. Your chosen critter will assign you to a group with others who chose the same critter, where you can talk to others, social media-style.
