Problems with #63

Describe your problem or your enhancement here:
Using plug-in headphones or BT headphones, when I first connect the headphones, 
I can't play any sort of audio. Poweramp doesn't respond and needs a Force 
Close, Google Play Music doesn't respond and requires a Force Close. The 
Equalizer App from the Play Store also hangs and needs a FC. After a few 
minutes of struggling with the audio, my phone 'gives up' and reboots on it's 
own. Audio seemingly ok after the phone reboot. It has done this on two 
occasions since switching from Stock HTC Sense to ViperXL yesterday (20 Feb 
2013).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect audio to play without issue after connecting my headphones.

Which version of ViperXL you are using?
3.2.2 on AT&T One X.

Which kernel do you use, custom or stock? if on Stock, did you flash the
latest one that comes with the rom?
I was using the kernel from the stock Sense ROM until I flashed the ViperXL 
ROM. I only flashed the ROM; I did not specifically flash any kernel before or 
after flashing the ROM.
