Multiple apps crash on load after device encryption completed. I was able to
reproduce the issue after a restore to RUU and reflash of ViperXL rom. Sample
apps include: Chrome, Mint, Netflix. The app tries to launch and immediately
crashes to home screen without any user visible error message.
The only change made in the 2nd reproduction of the issue was 1) create new
Exchange / active sync mail account, 2) allowed the requirement of pin,
encryption, and other admin settings to take effect, and 3) encryption process
completed. After reboot from encryption, certain apps started crashing right
away. They worked before adding the ActiveSync account.
Which version of ViperXL you are using?
HTC One X+ 2.0.0
Which kernel do you use, custom or stock? if on Stock, did you flash the
latest one that comes with the rom?
Flashed latest kernel provided in rom thread.
