This happens when the interval is moving the tuned signal upwards but still inside the same signal tail (in the same gaussian). If the gaussian is wide enough and the signal is strong enough we have rig-remote bookmarking the same signal at a slightly different frequency. Basically the scanning logic is too trivial

It would be great to automatically return only the strongest (centre frequency) of a signal cluster.
