There is currently a note at https://www.ebi.ac.uk/miriam/main/restrictions/MIR:00000273 saying
One restriction has been associated to this data collection:
Downloading, copying, saving, or printing out of materials for purposes other than academic research or education is prohibited.
This comes from the very early massbank.jp usage policy,
which has been superseded by the LICENSE
in each record.
I'd like to tell the identifiers.org maintainers that this restriction is gone now.
Yours, Steffen
Hi, I agree. The description should be also changed, for example:
MassBank is a federated database of reference spectra from different instruments, including high-resolution mass spectra of small metabolites and chemicals of environmental concern (<3000 Da).
I thought small molecules were generally defined as <1000, 1500 or 2000 Da (definitions vary) but 3000 seems a little large and is outside the mz range of most instruments in MassBank? As far as I know most HR-MS instruments scan to either 1000 or 2000 for small molecules? Not sure what the EI records in MassBank look like in terms of range though.

@sneumann How can we change entries here? Helmholtz and DENBI should be more visible. And the deep link is wrong.
@sneumann I guess, we need to register again. The record is missing at all.
I think this now turned into https://registry.identifiers.org/registry/massbank
Hi, this issue is to keep track of any changes we want to have against the identifiers.org at https://www.ebi.ac.uk/miriam/main/collections/MIR:00000273
