To split hairs, "... or who deposited raw/converted data files in a public repository ... ", could also mean just anyone who compiled records and uploaded them to, say, massbank.eu , since converted in converted data can be understood in a very broad sense.

I was aware of this conflict, but "raw" data can also be interpreted as meaning native instrument data only, not converted to an open format.

"or who deposited data files that serve as the basis for the record in a public repository"? Because a record may well be created from non-raw data.

HI @meowcat, I reject the pull request. Lookup for the submission policy in the Readme. Please use the dev branch to integrate new code.
