My interest in this is because I'm trying to use gradle which seems to require the jdk8 directory structure. But I have noticed that there already are working commands for Java, JavaC, Etc in Termux, yet there is no jdk8 directory. So why do things such as gradle need the jdk8 directory structure at all if the Java commands are already available? Or why didn't these Termux Java commands come with a supplied jdk8 directory structure? I'm just failing to understand the situation because I'm rather new to Java. Thank you.
