I still see promoted tweets near the head of twitter.com/waterfoxproject

… a sense of randomness. When reloading the page: sometimes a promotion appears, sometimes it does not.

Odd. Is that only on Waterfox?

Touch wood, not reproducible with Firefox 67.0.

My default profile for Waterfox 56.2.10 is much more heavily extended than any profile for Firefox, maybe I have an extensions conflict. Shots from a few minutes ago:

@grahamperrin Odd. I am not sure what I can do about this issue.

OK, two instances of Waterfox running (separate profiles). The test instance with a visible address bar has very few extensions enabled:

I sped through enabled extensions in my default profile, can't see anything that should interfere but obviously, I have something not right :-)
