Problem Sending Incoming Call to Voicemail using 'Prompt to Accept' Condition and Simultaneous #175

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Setup Follow Me Calling in System Settings for an extension like this:

1st Ring Number: [any standard outside telephone number] -> 30 secs
2nd Ring Number: [sip extension number] -> 60 secs

Ring Order: [simultaneous]
Prompt to accept call: [true]

Produce the bug like this:

1. Call the extension
2. Softphone rings and then answer it
3. Listen to message 'press 1 to accept, 2 to reject, and 3 for voicemail'
4. Wait for first 'ring number' to ring and then answer it (This is very
important in reproducing the bug)
5. On softphone, press 3 to send the call to voicemail.
6. On softphone, after pressing 3, the line should hang up, but it doesn't. It
only hangs up if you dont' answer the simultaneously ringing line listed in the
'1st ring number'.
7. Since softphone doesn't hang up, the greeting message is played through the
softphone channel asking you to leave a voicemail on the message. It's like
after you press 3 to send the caller to voicemail, it sends you to voicemail
and let you leave a voicemail for yourself.

I'm running r1529, postgres, on Ubuntu 10.04.

Mcrane says it needs a rewrite and will take about 3 days to a week to complete

We might have one of our in house coders rewrite this for you. What
*specifically* should be rewritten and are there any guidelines that you would
like to see done? Perhaps this will alleviate some of the load.

Planned to rewrite follow me so that it is fully database driven and doesn't
require a bunch of xml or scripts.

I believe this works as expected with the latest version > 3.6
