T.38 On Incoming and Outgoing Faxes #323

Please enable an allow T.38 codec for faxing. I know freeswitch supports this, 
but it isn't specified in FusionPBX.

T.38 will be used if available without specifying this in FusionPBX.

mod_spandsp prefers t.38 over everything audio-only.

As long as your upstream provider supports t.38 on your trunk, you should be 
fine!

We are sending and receiving ~20 faxes per day via t.38 without any special 
configuration ;)

There are many t.38 options that can be set manually in the inbound or outbound 
routes. Which ones to use depend a lot on what you are needing which makes it 
more difficult to add it to the GUI. It can still be done with the GUI but 
needs to be done in a way that can meet everyone's needs.
