Hot desk not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. upgrade or new install
2. configure extension  for hot desk
3. dial *072 to use hot desk on other extension
4. dial *073 to logout on hot desk on other extension

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

On upgrade the extension is not logging out from hot desk. on the App hotdesk 
the Dial String is removed but it is still contacting the extension where it 
was last used for hotdesk.

On new install it is not contacting the extension that is configured to use the 
hotdesk.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

This is really a support request rather than a bug.

Its required to run the config on demand from the database for section: 
directory. If your extensions are provided via xml files it will not work.
