Support building against OpenSSL 1.1.

I've only lightly tested this. I've only tested key generation and wrapping.

I incorporated your PR onto devel, as part of a wider change. That's the reason why I am rejecting the PR from here; nevertheless, the credits goes to you - it will be reflected when going to master branch, inside the changelog.
