This issue focuses on improving the Project 1 homepage by replacing the demo picture with an actual screenshot of the GUI, updating the accompanying text to provide a clear app description, and ensuring the download button's text reflects the correct data. Additionally, we aim to enhance the professionalism of the footer.

Homepage Updates:

  1. Image Replacement: Replace the current demo picture on the homepage with an actual screenshot of the GUI of our application.
  2. Text Description: Edit the text next to the image to provide a comprehensive description of the application. Use the following text as a guide: "group is working on behalf of Forestview to create a proposal / “mock” application. This application deals with data storage. It will allow the user to use Python to add, store, and retrieve data (see project detail). This is part of Forestview’s upcoming SafeZone© proposals to key customers, such as Dell EMC. "
  3. The download button also needs to use the the statement above use this also: Within the user agreement, the following must be addressed: data privacy, application sharing, and other appropriate language (eg.. “user may not sell or distribute data without the express consent of Forestview….”)
  4. Technical instructions to be included ON THE application homepage

Use must comply with a user agreement as a condition to the downloading of the application

Important: you must also provide a unilateral indemnity clause, precluding Forestview from legal ramifications for things such as data breaches, zero-day attacks, and database worms, such as SQL injection.

Include language indicating periodic vulnerability assessments against your system, and that you also demand said preventive actions from all your key vendors

State that requirements will change over time, as technology and the overall security landscape changes

Footer Enhancement:

  1. Professional Design: Redesign the footer to enhance its professionalism, ensuring it includes relevant contact information and links as necessary.
