Help with licence activation - 101 guide #146

So I got a license, paid for it and updated my serial number. However, it continues to say it is unregistered/unlicensed.

When I download the serial number, it gives me my old serial number, not the updated version. When I manually correct the serial number and try restarting Pokerbot, it resets the serial number to the old version and gives me the same error message.

Hi there,

I'm afraid this is just a failure to follow the instructions properly. You do not download the serial number. You download the key.txt file which you place in the same folder as the exe file and you never ever have to touch this file or open it. When you start the exe file, a file named serial_number.txt will be created in the same folder as the exe file. The contents of this file must match the serial number on this page: https://poker-bot.azurewebsites.net/en/Manage/ChangeSerialNumber

Do people read the terms and conditions too? There is a free trial period to make sure that you setup things properly beforehand.

The 4 day lockout period to change the serial number was deactivated temporarily.

My serial number is 1. I changed it to see if that would solve the problem. The serial_number.txt file that is generated is my former number, f7293be3c27923946267606b639b375d4a753a6ba3ed235094d7e7d1f9092d4b0bc9fc92e8df75b8e1da4d7ac915577c4a18bf7457d45f6f6785eeec29e86af6. So no, they do not match. What should I do.

Ignore the serial number generator. The real serial number you must use is the one from the serial number txt file. Copy and paste it on https://poker-bot.azurewebsites.net/en/Manage/ChangeSerialNumber Nothing difficult there.
