Just a question about the thumbnails location in firefox

Please move this post to relevant area if this is a wrong section I cannot find the quickdial thumbnails location in Firefox portable I need to The reason for that is when I clean firefox profile areas with a script, it cleans out the quickdial thumbnails as well, I want to exclude in the cleanup process. otherwise when I start the browser after the cleanup, all the quickdial thumbnails restart downloading again I want to avoid

I use the old MozBackup to handle backups and restores for firefoxes. With quickdial it needs a bit of twiggling and rereading the screenshots… try it.

I use the old MozBackup to handle backups and restores for firefoxes. With quickdial it needs a bit of twiggling and rereading the screenshots… try it.

I did a big job organizing all the thumbnails and creating the icons. I'm scared to try to lose everything hahaha

Naturally yes.

So install a 2nd firefox like I do for example thr nightly or developer version or create a new profile in the existing firefox setup. Mozbackup will recognise all that and you can backup and restore between all of them profiles. As I said it sometimes ineeds a bit if twiggling but basically theren is no data loss. Advise to start mozbackup with adminstrator permissions
