Assigning to myself for investigation. Probably a script race.
Additional: Problem does not occur with latest CVS under Windows or Linux. My iPaq is charging at the moment, so I will look at it in the morning on that. For me, I load the saved game... row to the shack, walk to the voodoo lady, get love potion. No problem. May be PocketScumm specific \(memory overwrite? Will valgrind\)
Logged In: NO Hi, apologies, I read the version number off of the directory I have been dumping new releases into for the last few weeks and not of off the menu screen. Version is, Build 051302 \(VM 015302\) All other details as before. I am running from a CF card in an expansion jacket. Tried reinstalling to main memory with no luck.

I will email arisme to look into this as it seems to be PocketSCUMM specific.
This problem seems to be an iMUSE synch problem... I know that this will happen if you're playing without sound or music ... are you playing with sound turned off ? or I'll have to understand why the music seems to be disabled in this saved game :\)

If arisme is right, then this might be fixed by the recent change that was supposed to fix iMuse lockups that occured if you had music disabled.
yes, that was the idea :\) but I haven't checked if iMuse state is serialized in the saved games yet ; if it is, I'll force it \(reviewing this now\)
mmh longer test : check that iMuse restarts properly when a saved game is loaded ... will try this later
You commited a patch to restart iMUSE when loading a saved game, didn't you? Does that fix this one? :\) Can I close it? \*itching for bugs to close\* :P
not yet sorry, my first patch was wrong as I confused the "pause sounds" function with a "mute sound" function - I need to add a real "mute sound" function to iMUSE/mixer \(or the bug will still happen when someone use this option in the WinCE port\), then you can close it :\)
