as mentioned on the extension's home page, it pulls data through the old crunchyroll site, however it has been completely replaced by crunchyroll beta (which blocks this access, as there are no trailers in the beta) which means it's impossible to exploit the videos on the new crunchyroll, and the old one no longer exists.

so, this extension died. I'm going to try to change and fix some points of the extension on my own, but I don't promise anything. (since the videos are still hosted on the external domain)
