editor needs to be supplemented with a "cheat sheet" #407

nice buttons in the editor could help people understand what they can do -- in particular, I'm imagining a button like "α" that unfolds to a bunch of sub-menus for inputting math symbols by clicking. Other buttons for adding the various kinds of links would also be useful. But this is still no replacement for a good cheat-sheet (Github's version is below).
