If you're getting net_gethostbyname errors. It sounds like your Wii is having
network
troubles or it is timing out trying to talk to a DNS server.

In TBR, don't you have to perform half of the process, restart the application,
and
then complete the other half?
Since you've already done the first half, try just doing the second half the
next
time you use the application.

I forgot to point out that several people have confirmed the USB/SD methods as
working in the latest revision and a couple others (including myself and
Lunatik)
have confirmed the NUS method as working now.

I don't have any problem using NUS on TBR 1.11. Only with the "working" rev38
does
this happen.
Please tell me where my mistake is...I perform the following steps in this
order:
1. Run Dop-IOS MOD r38 and select "Install an IOS that accepts fakesigning"
2. Load IOS 36
3. Select "Downgrade IOS15" (this process completes fine and then the app
automatically exits back to HBC)
4. Start Dop-IOS MOD r38 and select "Install an IOS that accepts fakesigning"
5. Load IOS15
6. Select the IOS36 menu
7. Change all options to Yes
8. Select "Install Patched IOS36" (at this point the "Load files from..."
prompt
comes up but I am unable to choose anything. The app freezes with "Load from
SD"
highlighted and is unresponsive to all wiimote input. the wiimote remains lit
up as
if it is still synced and a hard shutdown is required to exit the program.
This
happens EVERYTIME I run the app.
The test i did with adding wiipower's http.c/h files to r28 was merely to see
if
that was the only thing holding the app back at that point since r28 was the
best
functioning revision in my opinion.

IRC revealed old8oy was using a bad version of libogc to compile. Our compiled
versions worked fine for him, just like they do for us.
Issue solved :)
