I'm glad to see dop-mii to update!

I tested the beta version but like the V12, I can launch the HB but it freezes
on the welcome screen! My Wii is out of sync!

So I can not currently run, but do the "install IOS36 fakesigning" can use the
IOS41 and do it proposes to install this IOS ?
(I know it's possible to install it in order to enter the menu in the menu in
v12 and older, dop-year mii wants IOS That fakesigning accept ^^)

Using a GC Controller I have a dsi exeption
here is the stack dump:
800225b4 -> 800226e8 -> 800481d0 -> 80048170

(always the same and in all port)

I decided to downgrade into 4.2 to see if it works and it works without
problems !
Maybe, you didn't tested it into firmware 4.3

So I tested the "install IOS36 fakesigning" and i was happy to see we can
download and reload IOS41 without rebooting Wii !
I was also surprised you use IOS41 v3348 and no v2835 but it works well (can
you explain?)

Why did you patch IOS36 v3351 and no v3607 ??
What about Issue9 and Issue21 ? ;)
Issue1 can wait :)

Thanks for updating Dop-Mii !!!

Also, when the option "Install 36 fakesigning" wants to install & patch IOS36
it ask only for ES_Identify and NAND permissions, what about Trucha ?

In the syscheck, i couldn't see IOS254 v31338 (it's bootmii as IOS)

Man your on fire. Great!

Thanks I'll check it out. I have a feeling it is WiiMote related.

> I was also surprised you use IOS41 v3348 and no v2835 but it works well (can

Because it's newer and has all the downgrade exploit I need. Either version
works but this is the one I chose. If you happen to have v2835 installed I use
that one anyway. This is only if you don't have IOS41 installed that it'll
install 3348.

> Why did you patch IOS36 v3351 and no v3607 ??

Because 3607 doesn't allow downgrading. I'm still debating on if I want to
switch to the delete/install method or leave it as is. Once 3351 is installed
you can pretty much do anything including installing an IOS into another slot
for hacking purposes.

I will address Issue 9 & Issue 21 later.

> Also, when the option "Install 36 fakesigning" wants to install & patch IOS36

When you run the fakesign installer you are already saying you what Trucha
installed. No reason to prompt for it.

Nothing I can do about that. BootMii doesn't have a TMD and without a TMD I
can't tell you the version. Team Twizzers would have to build a TMD for me to
use.

I think Issue21 can fix that ^^ I will test right now with TBR1.13 (which
install v3607) and tell you if i can downgrade others IOS with it ;)

-_-_-_-_-_-_--_-_-_-_

What about deleting IOS41 after use ? (useless in E/U/J Wii)

-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

What about add the EULA and Region Select hidden channels to the "Channels"
menu ?

Original comment by cs-nut...@live.fr on 6 Jul 2010 at 1:24

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
okay, I just discovered thaht TBR can't use IOS41 v3348 but just v3091 & v2835
!!!

But with the "version check" patch on IOS36 v3607 i'm able to downgrade
everything !
So if you add Issue21, you could use this version of IOS36 without problem ;)

The biggest problem for now is that it's impossible to load Dop-Mii under
system menu 4.3 !!!

What about Issue18? You can always change the IOS used by the application at
startup (to use IOS 35 or 36, for example), I think.

Nevermind, I read the code. What about changing it to IOS 61? As far as I know,
it has SDHC support and a lot of consoles have it installed.
