I think it should stay. I don't think the wiimote aiming is so far off to make
this
option useless. Also, playing with the cursor on makes aiming incredibly easy -
which is no fun!

This option must stay in order to approach the original NES gameplay. I'm
playing
Duck Hunt with a gun and even if aiming is not easy I've found the way to aim
without
the crosshair. It shouldn't be bothering you since you can turn it on/off as you
prefer. I still think a way to calibrate the zapper would be useful though. But
I
know it won't be done unfortunately... :-( If only I knew how to do it by
myself!

How would it "calibrate"? This just uses the same wiimote positioning as
anything
else does - why would you want to change that? None of the commercial Wii games
offer 'calibration' AFAIK. That's an old-school concept to compensate for bad
targeting hardware like the SNES superscope. We don't have a problem with that
here!

I know that, and it's a shame Nintendo didn't think of the possibility to
adjust the
wiimote aiming in the Wii options screens. By calibrate I just meant a way to
adjust
the crosshair up or down so that my gun sight would aim it. I'm not sure I'm
very
clear since English is not my native language... But of course the option
"Crosshair
on/off" is great and I think it should stay in the emu.

There's a setting in the Wii menu that changes where the cursor appears (if you
point at
the same spot and change the settings, the cursor will be in a different spot
on the TV)
, and there's a calibration tool in Twilight Princess (tool only affects in-game). So a
calibration tool would be possible.

It's exactly what I meant. Please can you tell me how to access this setting in
the
Wii menu? I've been looking for it for a long time but I never found it...

this option was requested - it doesn't hurt to have it in there. I'm going to
leave
it.
