The tutorials are currently impossible to complete because the number of
keys required.  Maybe a radial pause menu with a bunch of options could
allow access a bunch of rarely used keys.

Hi, radial wheel sounds ideal, maybe a temporary solution would be to add USB 
keyboard support for binding?
I'd happily play with rare keys bound to a keyboard, and I'm sure many players 
would 
if it meant they could get through the tutorial.
