XG2 is slower after r170

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Play & see many slowdowns 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r174 @ xp prof 32-bit sp3

Please provide any additional information below.
Maybe the ini-cleaning in r171 causes this

If you suspect the ini-cleaning is causing your problem, the simplest thing to 
do is put back the old ini and test.

For me, I have to slow the game a little to have better control for gameplay.
It is probably your hardware problem.
