F-Zero X - ugly dithering effect #172

You will notice ugly dithering when it fade-in to the attached image screen or 
fade-out when you press B at that screen.

Perhaps it is better to use "stipple_mode = 0" for this game in the ini.

We try to emulate the games even if there is ugly effects in your opinion.

I don't understand your english.
Simply put.
Can you confirm the dithering on that screen is correct?
Is the dithering effect on that screen a by-product of incomplete/inaccurate 
emulation of dithering?
If so, a temporary measure would be to set "stipple_mode = 0" to prevent wrong 
dithering.
The issue is not about ugly dithering(although it could be a criteria to turn 
off dithering for that game even if dithering should occur but not emulated 
correctly).
Anyway, it is individual preference to turn it off/on since it is an option 
available to all users.

Ok, close it as invalid, since the effect exists on the real hardware. May be 
someday it will be emulated less ugly.
