pokemon stadium 2 - trade machine broken animations #234

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start the game with the nrage joystick plug in with 2 joysticks with 2
emulated transfer paks.
2. go to the pokemon lab (the place where professor oak is)
3. go to the trade machine and trade 2 random pokemons.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
you should see the machine transfering the pokemons (still images crossing from
one pokeball to the other) and over the pokeballs a blue "shield" while inside
the machine. instead you see a static blank screen where the pokemons should
cross over and where the pokeballs are generally a small blue square at the
left on the left pokeball placeholder of the machine.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
myglide64 r217 (but with all the versions this happens) under windows 7
ultimate x64

Please provide any additional information below.
leaving a screenshot. also the same issue occurs on pokemon stadium. but the
trading machine does not work a nrage bug plug in so i cannot take a screenshot
while using properly the machine.

something wrong with your screenshot.
Anyway, the white screen is a bug during the transfer.

Does it work with any other video plugin?

i cannot test it since i formatted my hard disk and lost the other plug ins i
used to have. but yes i can tell you from my noob experience that that white
layer its used like a blink when the pokemons are send to one pokeball to
other. let me see if i can recover some plug ins as i did on the vs mewtwo bug
and if i can i will upload a screenshot. basically on the monitor appears the
same miniature of the rental pokemon with the same textures of your pokemon
(for exmaple if you have a pink mewtwo the miniature its the same of the
stadium gb box a tiny mew) but only big as the half of the screen. then those
images croos over with a cool blurry effect the screen blinks as a flash and
thats it. the backround of this trade its the same texture as when you see the
3D model in the pokedex.

ok the first its when you choosed (in this case) the two pokemons, one its an
egg the other an articuno, from silver to crystal gbc games.
the first image when choosed first the pokemon blink.
then in the 2 image the blurry animation when are send to the oposite sides.
then the rest of the animations are ok i guess.
cannot tell 100% since i never play the game on a real nintendo 64.
this plug in this works and the rest of the animations not lol.
its the rice video stable build (the 6.10 i think). i tell you if you wanna try
it for yourself. others may work also or better dont know.
