MplayerCE 0.76 does not load

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select MplayerCE .76 from homebrew browser
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect mplayerCE to load/run, instead my screen says "Loading MPlayerCE 
v.0.76" and it freezes on that screen

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using .76 on my wii with 4.1 system menu

Do you have a modchip?

I (poster) have tried to install hermes cIOS 202 and it has failed every time. 
I load 
cIOS installer, I have tried 36 and 38 for "select IOS for installl", I then 
select 202 
and then select 38 merged with 60, so if anyone can tell me how to correctly 
install 
cIOS without it failing, i would appreciate it. Thank you.

stick a usb memory stick in the back of your machine before trying to run the
programme. Worked for me.
