No text on menus 0.76

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Deleted 0.75 folder, downloaded 0.76 through Wiibrew.

mplayer_ce loads, but the menu text is not visible. I can move the grey
selector, and go through options, they just have no text.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

mplayer_ce 0.76
I've also tried the latest beta from irc "Latest beta (11/12/09):

Using System Menu 4.0U, USB2.0 and the DVD thing is installed.

Do you have a modchip?
No.

Please provide any additional information below.

0.75 works fine.

I'm also experiencing the same problem. I haven't tried 0.75 though
I'm using 4.1U, USB2.0, DVDx not installed
No modchip
I have downloaded the beta from issue #523 comment #48 but I'm still getting 
the problem

Apparently, 0.75 seemed to work. 
I don't get the freeze thing. Just the no text on menus problem. Thanks!
