MPlayerCE v0.76 crashes Wii on launch

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Boot Wii
2. Start Homebrew Channel
3. Start MPlayerCE v0.76 from HBC

What is the expected output? 
MPlayerCE starting up.

What do you see instead?
Loading MPlayerCE v0.76 ....

From there on nothing happens, I can't turn off my Wii through the Wiimote 
and the reset button doesn't work as well.

Pressing the power button for 3 seconds does turn off the Wii.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MPlayer-CE v0.76
Homebrew Channel v1.0.6
Bootmii as IOS
DVDX
System menu 4.0E

NO Hermes cIOS or any other cIOS except Bootmii.
NO Truchabug restored.

Do you have a modchip?
Nope

Please provide any additional information below.
MPlayerCE 0.75 *does* work.

Other homebrew programs like Wii64 and Snes9x GX work as well.

Hi  the same us me, but if I connect USB and SD then work but not from the  DVD.
