Need help with Arabic folder names in SMB shares appear in strange characters(á, ö, ü ...) #696

I use Mplayer CE 0.76 and I want to add the ability to see arabic names of
folders in
my SMB shares on my PC. They appear in strange characters(á, ö, ü ...). How
can solve
that? I managed before to fix arabic subtitles by adding the following to
the end of
mplayer.conf:

#Arabic Subtitles Setting 
slang=ar 
subcp=windows-1256

This fixed arabic subtitles but not arabic folder names in SMB shares on my PC.
Please help
