Small font size for subtitles

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Run avi movies with srt files.Subtitles appear in very small font size, very 
difficult to read them

actually you can change the subtitle's font size by editing the mplayer.conf 
file.
the line is : 

           subfont-text-scale=3

You can adjust it ranging from 0 to 100. 

I'm sure it would be nice if this option is included on the mplayer-ce menu.
