My wii plays movies ( .vob files ) slow and blur #747

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open HBC
2. Open Mplayer ce
3. Open movie, for instance sherlock holmes (ripped from dvd)through a tested 
(100 % working) HDD (western digital my passport essential 320 GB)
4. Play the first .vob file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is a movie, that works fine. Instead of that i see a blurry 
screen and the sound is like with little beeps. It does play, but a little bit 
slow and you can't see anything because it looks like Mplayer connects dots and 
you get an unwatchable screen. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm on a Wi (V 4.2E) with Mplayer 0,76 and 0,77 (have them both)

Do you have a modchip?
No

I have the solution. I downloaded another programm to play the movie, but the 
rip is bad or broken so the quality of the .vob file is bad and that's why it 
didn't worked.
I think the dvd was protected against copying

You can change the status of this issue to solved
