It'd be nice if mplayer ce would support some cropping options. A typical case
is a 16:9 video that is encoded in a 4:3 video file with black boxes. If
playing that on a 16:9 screen, it only uses a small fraction of the screen for
the real video.
mplayer commandline has the -vf cropdetect option which will then output
suggested -vf crop parameters. Though this is a bit unhandy, there seems to be
no easy way to automatically do cropdetection and apply it to the running video.
