What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. download this file http://www.mediafire.com/?n4kxuf5i60c9i or any .mkv file 
with  resolution 1280x720 24fps codec avc1 
audio: codec a52 sample rate: 48000Hz bit rate: 384 kb/s

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected, play the movie
see it: Analizing Strem -> Loading Font (and freeze)

Append this to your configuration:

demuxer=lavf
