SD/USB access failed - when lan adaptor is connected to second USB port #803

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. mplayer works fine from usb drive if the other USB port is not used
2. Attach a lan adpator HC-WII076 to the second USB port
3. when mplayer starts get sd/usb acces failed. please check that you have 
installed mplayer in the right folder....

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect the menu to open a location. Instead I get the error above then 
realods the homebrew channel.
