Super Mario 64 Freezup

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch Super Mario 64 ROM using Datel SD Media Launcher
2. Launch from the canon on Level 3
3. Attempt to grab a Star

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When launched from teh canon on Level 3, sound disapperas, but I can still 
move. Attempt to get the Star results in screen going black and complete 
freeze-up.

What version of the product are you using? On which system and loader?

Cube64 Beta 1

Please provide any additional information below.

The game runs fine, at about 95% of the speed most of the time... 
Framerate dips a bit occationally. Sound is a bit "robotic" or 
buzzing/reverberating. Cannot get past 3rd level though - sound 
disappears, then screen goes black.

Try with another rom. I do that part and works fine (I´m using Wii64).

which level is level 3?

If he means course 3, then that would be "Cool, Cool, Mountain".

Sorry I wasn't clear - it's the 1st course, "Bob-omb Battlefield", "Star 3: 
Shoot To
The Island In The Sky". After the shot from the canon, sound disappeared moments
before landing. Screen froze after I grabbed the Star, and Mario did his 
"victory
dance" - he froze with his hand up, and then the screen went black.

have you tried to get another star in that level and then that star?

Actually, yes - I think I went to get a 4th Star first, and then 3rd mentionned 
above.
