Perfect dark Menus show no text and missions crash

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start the game and try to play. There will be no text on the menus
2. Somehow find mission 1 and it will crash.
3. Press start while your ingame.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When I tried to play, there was nothing. Just the menu. It works if you
press A and everything, but you can't even see the text!
I wish the menus would work. Especially the missions.

What version of the product are you using? On which system and loader?

perfect dark V1.0U ROM I believe

Please provide any additional information below.
Mission 1 just plain crashes. 
Everything else works almost but if the menus would work, the game would
just about be playable!

I hope somebody will fix this sometime? I will probably donate if it's fixed!

These are two separate issues, and both known.

The no text on menus is noted in issue 97.

The other issue of mission 1 crashing is being investigated.

This is two separate issues, but the graphical part can go into issue 97
