Enhancement: Possible USB Controller Support? #157

This is obviously an enhancement suggestion, and obviously not very high on
the priorities list, but I was wondering if you guys/girls were considering
this feature. Using xbox 360 controllers and other gamepads would be really
cool, but of course you'll need to be able to custom configure your buttons
first (yeah, I know, not until beta 2 at least). It doesn't seem like it
would be that hard to implement (though I have VERY little coding
experience, and nothing related to this, so I may be very wrong), but I was
just curious. Thanks in advance!

I've thought about this too.
Though the controllers may be buggy since the controllers need certain
firmware/software for them to work. They would need to build this from scratch
to do
this(if you get a usb controller you will see it comes with a software disc).
You're
probably better off getting an adapter for the Gamecube controller slot.

Most of everything is plug and play now so actually just plugging it in will
work as long as the program can identify the inputs from the controller.
