What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download and install any download manager (Orbit or FDM to name a couple).
2. Set the download manager to scan for Chrome downloads.
3. Open Chrome, navigate to any page that has a download link, try downloading
a file.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output would be that a page with the text "The download has been
transferred to *** Downloader [...]" appeared and the download would start.
What really happens is that NotScripts blocks the page and just show a grey
page until I allow the site.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7 x64, Chrome 23.0.1271.64, NotScripts 0.9.6.
Please provide any additional information below.
I do that may be "working as intended", but it really is annoying if you're
using a download manager having to allow every page when you have to download
something. Whitelisting doesn't help because it's domain related, while the
actual interaction is among Chrome and an external program. Is there any way
you can add an option to stop that behavior? Thanks.
