Using NotScripts 0.9.6 I discovered some sites do not load, when NotScript is
enabled, enforcing a whitelist policy with no exceptions given. That is, the
site in question does not load and loads forever while generating a huge CPU
workload. It just freezes the tab.
Note, I do not mean a broken (white) site being displayed due to scripts being
disabled, but the browser being stuck at page render time, as if it waited
forever for a HTTP response.
The problem disappears as soon as I either:
a) disable the NotScripts extension
b) whitelist the problematic site
c) add the site to the whitelist
Example:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=linux
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=apache2
