NotScripts reloads page on every permission change #65

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to a page with more than one non-whitelisted script source.
2. Open NotScripts, and set one of the script sources to "Allowed"
3. Before you can change permissions on any other site, NotScripts closes and
reloads the site.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I'd expect NotScripts to stay open and allow me to change permissions on
different sites until I'm satisfied, then reload the page when I close it. As
it stands now, to change permissions on the other sites, I have to repeatedly
reopen NotScripts and allow the page to reload.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Current Blocking Mode: Whitelist

There is a setting on the NotScripts Options->Choices page named "Reload tabs
when permissions change". Have you tried setting this to "off"?

At the top of the NotScripts menu, when you are picking a site to allow,
there's a checkbox that says "Multi-Select Sites". Make sure that's checked,
then pick all of the sites you want to allow/disallow.

For some reason "Reload tabs when permissions change" is not present in Opera.
The answers above are correct for Chrome though.
