'Patch GDROM Region' option broken in new image reader plugin (r74)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1: Enable 'Patch GDROM Region' in the GDROM options
2: Note nullDC's system region setting 
3: Load a game from a region different to the above system region setting.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The expected output is:
'Patch GDROM Region' should allow the game to load, despite the difference in 
regions. This works in revisions up to and including r71.

But instead I see:
Reset to DC BIOS screen. Selecting 'Play Game' prompts the 'Insert game disc' 
message, usual behaviour for a non-chipped Dreamcast trying to run a different 
region game.

What version of the product are you using? What build? What plugins?

I use version: r74, default plugins.

On what kind of system?

My system specifications are as follows:

Operating System: Windows 7 x64
CPU: E8500
Video Card: GTS 250
Sound Card: Realtek HD (on-board)
Additional related hardware and/or software: n/a

What? Update it. I'm using r75 with ntsc-u(1.001d) bios and flash. Region 
patcher works fine.

Region patching doesn't work for me in r75 either. I'm using the same NTSC-U 
BIOS that I've always used with nullDC (since the first release), and region 
patching has worked fine up to and including r71.

proletar666 - you're getting region patching to work with GDI images? CDI scene 
releases are usually region-free.

Anyone else having this problem?

i have the same issue,whenever i try to launch Virtua Tennis 2 GDI version  it 
goes to the dreamcast menu.

Yes, i'm using gdi. Just got the same problem with Heavy Metal Geomatrix. Not 
sure why it doesn't work now. But you still can change your region in NullDC 
settings. Waiting for fix.
