Shenmue crash on saving, but does actually save #337

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1: start new game, save at Ryos bed or save via resume, says saving and stays 
on screen, music still playing in background, but never comes up saying save 
complete.

But if you restart nulldc and load the save point, it did actually save.

this seems to only happen on rev 84 and beyond i have tried every version 
afterwards and it crashes, rev 83 and below is fine.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The expected output is: save complete

But instead I see: saving please wait...............

What version of the product are you using? Rev 84 and beyond

I use version: Rev 85

I use a nullDC_Win32_Release-NoTrace.exe build 104 rev 85

I use the following plugins:

PowerVR Plugin: nulldc powervr direct3d hal oct 24 2010
GDRom Plugin: image reader plugin by drk oct 21 2010
AICA Plugin: null dc aica oct 21 2010
ARM7 Plugin: vba arm sound cpu core oct 21 2010
Maple Plugin(s): null dc controller winhook oct 21 2010
Ext.Device Plugin: nullextdev oct 21 2010

On what kind of system?

My system specifications are as follows:

Operating System: tried on win xp and 7
CPU: 2.8ghz and 3.0ghz quad core
Video Card: nvidia gtx 8800
Sound Card: not sure
Additional related hardware and/or software:

The changes made in Nulldc R84 were maple time modifications. The problem must 
be that.

The "problem" was fixed later on. Try a more recent revision.

hi have just tried with nearly every revision including latest R109 and still 
same issue persists.

Still there? Interesting. Did you try a PAL or NTSC version?
