All projects are set to SSE, and none to SSE2. So it shouldn't crash because of
that at least. Unless the build you're using was compiled with SSE2.

This is due bug in VS2010. Same problem MPC-HC has and any other project that
was built using vs2010. Hopefully it'll be fixed with release of VS2010 SP1.

I downloaded the version on downloads section.

Anyone have a non-sse2 compiled version?

You downloaded r50 ? Then I guess yeah, those have drkPVR with SSE2 enabled.
We're at r131 by the way. =_="

I'll mark it as invalid. You must test with recent revisions. Test, then report
back if the problem persists. The Issue might then be reopened.

i downloaded several svn versions but yet to find one that works NOSSE2. i
tried with a drkPVR NOSSE2 built i found, it allowed the emulator to start but
crashes loading the game. Could someone upload tested NOSSE2 plugins?
