On the NTSC version only, the hud elements (speedo, driving options, lap info
and timer) are present during the pre-race camera pan, but disappear once the
race is underway.
This doesn't happen however with the PAL version - the HUD elements remain
visible at all times (see comparison pics).
I've tried all sorting/z-buffer options, have also tried both .cdi and .gdi
versions for both regions - the problem is NTSC versions only.
r133 tested.
